<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You woke up every morning, eyes staring widely upon the white ceiling above you, and you suddenly felt as though it had been a very long time since the last time you remembered feeling truly safe and happy. You realized the liquidity and the constant change in the people you go out with and the people you place your trust upon. And you suddenly find yourself craving dearly for something you can cling tightly upon, hoping to once again, find that utopia that you once thought was the world to you. You then let out a loud sigh, feeling helpless, cause you know now that that utopia had never existed in the first place.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You then realized, what is the point of looking backwards when all you need to do is to look forward. You thought you'd feel better, but then you realized you don't know what is there to look forward to. Success, achievements, big fat pay cheques; you were taught that those were the yardstick to happiness. Then you realized, that even though achieving the big three, happiness is still not within grasp. You feel lost, not knowing what you want or who you are anymore. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You grew up learning more about yourself but at the very same time, you realized you have never felt all the more lost. You stubbornly cling on to your beliefs feeling that that is all you have left, you promised yourself to not lose that person who you once thought you were, not wanting to succumb to the gray world that we all live in today. Never understanding unkindness, never understanding betrayal and hurt, you never gave up holding on tightly to the tiny glint of hope that genuine kindness still exist amongst each other. Then you realized that everyone feels the same way as you do. You realized that everyone shed a little bit of themselves as the day pass by. You realized that everyone had just given up and learnt to be more selfish over time. And you realized that you don't blame them simply cause they are just as scared as you are.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You then started to run. Seeking for comfort in temporal things. You hide yourself away. You closed the doors to your heart and to your mind. You started to shy away from things that seemed too good to be true. You shield yourself from people you care about. You wished you could fly away. You learned to act nonchalant about your problems. You buried your tears with a crooked smile hoping that the fear and the hurt would go away and that you will find yourself again one fine day. Then, you realized that life is what made you, who you are today. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You believed that there is more to life and you held on to that belief, day after day, year after year. You cling on to the comforting idea of hope the diverse world have to offer. You know that you would eventually <i>go</i> with hopes that by submerging yourself in to the pool of lost souls in the world, you will once again, find yourself. You grasped on to that promise but fearful of what you might find or worse, what you might not find. But you know, you will still survive regardless, simply cause you know you are a fighter deep down. But then again, till that day comes, you wonder who would you be?</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
With a heavy sigh, the tips of my lids shut tightly, shielding me from the gray sky shadowing above me. I saw your chiseled face and I remembered your cheeky smile. I remembered how I traced the edges of your strong jawline and how I couldn't help but to giggle along side with you as you held me tight in your embrace. I missed you.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It wasn't a fairy tale story; there weren't any carriages, there wasn't any fairy godmother, and there isn't any singing rodents at sight. It was by chance, that we have met, that we have shared what we had, that we are where we are today. We were both broken souls; wandering aimlessly through life, clinging on to the hope of something better. Scared and jaded, distant from what would seem too good to be true.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I remembered your fingers interlacing mine as we laid together, sharing our thoughts and I felt understood. I remembered you smiling goofily as you ran across the streets, like a child, eager to find out about the secret I just told you. You came back frowning, discouraged with what you knew. But you did not realize that you put a smile on my face. I remembered your gaze deeply lost into a sea of thoughts, amazed with what stood before you; a gaze I know so fondly of, a gaze that I myself shared. You held my hand, and you pulled me close to you. I am scared, flustered, but yet it all felt so right. I know I've found you.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I now sit here, wondering what could have been if things were handled differently. I couldn't help but to question why and how did I meet you. At the moment of my despair, I found you. You were different, you were what I have been looking for. I was lost for words. I was paralyzed. I was scared of the unknown and I have never met someone like you. Someone who hold true to who you are. But then again, things didn't work out as how I would want it to be. I had no regrets nor am I in angst. Knowing that I have already met someone so close to perfection, I am left wondering if I could find another you. I guess, I have no choice but to miss you and to go on with life wishing that I would heal in time for the next guy to sweep me off my feet. I'm not worried, but it is just the power of a broken heart that is slowly but surely healing itself.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvE8_-osOQ8A6fO7qXmZVclBTbbU75cnnbAptr6Q5xAA8sdb_KC7Hq6BlnqFJ_08NCF2qFRxSdfF2Cf0NpvhXBYnovFVFoeegEvCLQQ3oC30mJVdt3HLZWBJpFmMFdIPWgFocdBKXTkEFN/s1600/01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvE8_-osOQ8A6fO7qXmZVclBTbbU75cnnbAptr6Q5xAA8sdb_KC7Hq6BlnqFJ_08NCF2qFRxSdfF2Cf0NpvhXBYnovFVFoeegEvCLQQ3oC30mJVdt3HLZWBJpFmMFdIPWgFocdBKXTkEFN/s320/01.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Chapter 2.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was the election period. A small 15 inch idiot box located amongst tiers of dusty shelves housing hundreds of brewed alcohol from all over the world and some even possibly older than I am, projected the voice of a self-assured, confident man, probably in his early thirties. Though calm and unbias throughout his announcement on the latest updates about the current presidential run, I can almost be certain that this man had his hands down for the Republicans.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A trucker was sitting across the bar; his bulging belly uncovered by his tight grease stained tee, holding chilled beer in one hand, and the other, busy mending to his temples, massaging them. His eyes focused as though he is lost in a dimension no one else know of but him. I took a big gulp from my pint and shivered as the cold beer ran down my throat.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Don't be like this Samantha,"</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"What do you mean? You cheated on me and I have no rights to react like this?"</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"I'm sorry Sam, but I love you,"</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"If you did, you wouldn't have done what you did!"</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The teary auburn model-like woman sitting at the corner of the island stormed off towards the exit, grudgingly fidgeting with the rickety faux-glass wooden pane door, and eventually leaving nothing but the ringing welcoming bells as a resonance to her exit. The air was still accompanied by the faint voice of the charming anchorman in the background as he continued his announcement uninterrupted by what had happened.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I looked towards my own mug of frosty beer and I shifted my gaze towards the handsome haggard-looking bartender who looked nonchalant to whatever that has happened. Though his swiftness and gracefulness in mending the bar and pouring the right concoction of mixtures of the best liquors for his guests had attracted regular customers to his bar, he still was unhappy. He looked as though he has lost something or maybe someone he had once known very well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Absentmindedly, I pulled my hand towards my belly. My wet hand printed against the red flowery sundress I wore. Underneath the chiffon, I felt the growing bump. I closed my eyes. I am scared. Questions started running through my mind. <i>What am I going to do? Am I able to provide the best for this child? Is it right for me to bring this miracle to such wounded world? Am I good enough for him?</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Don't be thinking too hard now, it's often not very healthy."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The bartender said as he placed a glass of water in front of me.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"This would be more suitable for you than this, lady," he confiscated my beer with a charming grin before I could even protest.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"How did you know?" </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said nothing but grin as he continued meddling with the colorful mixtures behind his bar. I squinted my eyes trying to see as best as I can against the glaring spotlights, hoping to get a better look at him. But all I can see was his glimmering name tag eagerly proclaiming to anyone it sees, that his name is Jamie.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Jamie.</i> I thought.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I suddenly felt a sharp ache in my head. The bar started to spin. The glass of water that I was holding in my hands, dived to the floor. A loud siren filled my ears canceling off the faint soothing anchorman's voice. I was in total darkness.</div>

Circling the cove of the heart-shaped pendant, I felt a pang of sadness. A wall of tears started forming at the corner of my eyes. I sat quietly in the middle of nothingness, drowned in my own sea of thoughts as the early morning zephyr caressed me ever so softly against my skin.</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>
<br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>It was a fine evening when I was trailing the fallen leaves in the middle of Worchestershire, feeling as though the whole world didn't matter. I remembered vividly the cool breeze that I felt against my skin and the brown leaves which were performing its dance recital. I was 25 then, feeling lost and restless, I fled my country looking for a home that I have never had back in the States. I was lost in my own thoughts, amused with everything around me and that was when I saw you. You were gazing into the neverending auburn forest, with such depth in your ocean blue eyes; a look that was so foreign to me. I stopped in my steps, and fidgeted for my camera but it was then when I felt your touch for the very first time. I was startled by your touch but your hand, covered with fresh scars and bruises was ever so gentle. And with that single touch, it was the beginning of our story, a stranger from half way around the world became the only person that has ever captured my heart.</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>
<br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>it has been three months since the emotionless man in uniform stood on our doorstep holding a letter stamped by the government. ever since that very day, my puffy eyes stubbornly give in to slumber only at dawn hoping to once again feel your presence keeping me warm in a winter's night. your soft scent lingering in this four walls lets me know that you are still around. i slowly but surely found a home that i have been longing for in your familiar embrace that i dearly miss. it was you who held my hands and steered my tired aimless soul back to path. but you have left me.</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>
<br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>you are a hero. you fought against the lump growing behind your brain and triumphed. never once did i see that charming grin of yours leave your beautiful face. you ran into the collapsing building only wanting to give life to the many children who are now in their universities. you've traveled the distance only to tear down the walls which guarded my heart so fiercely so that i could live again. you are everyone's hero, you are my hero.</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>
<br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>i remembered when you last held me in your strong arms. your voice softly told me that you will have to do this. deep down, i know that you have to go. i pulled your arms closer to myself and i looked up at your chiseled face through my swollen eyes. you smiled sadly at me but your sincere deep ocean blue eyes never fail to remind me of the very reason why i fell in love with you. i know you will always be with me.</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>
<br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>every morning was a battlefield for me. knowing that you will never be downstairs making my favorite waffles, or wishing me a great day before i leave the house for work or kissing me to sleep every night made it all the more difficult for me to leave my bed, my only solitary getaway. it was then, the doorbell rang. a total mess, i reluctantly left the bed to answer the door only to find a simple white envelope lying infront of the porch. it was the last letter you sent from Iraq. i was thrilled, i ripped</i><i> the edges opened. a piece of paper and the locket you gave me for our wedding fall off. i held the paper in hand. it was the first picture i took of you in the forest. as i flipped it to the back, your familiar handwriting said "be there on your birthday" and the three words i have missed so much, i love you.</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>
<br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>it was already the 26th. i rummaged through my belongings and hurriedly flew on the first flight back to Worchesthershire. the familiar roads and buildings greeted me with warmth. it was a different time from when we met. the flowers were blossoming and everyone was welcoming. i woke up early even before the sunrise on the 28th and made my way to the familiar trees. the temperature was rising as i hurriedly brisked to where we first met. i stopped in my steps. it was so beautiful. countless of balloons were planted amongst the blossoming flowers and the proud trees. i once again, felt you. </i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Chapter 1.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Everything became slow motion. Against the agonizing pain that I was feeling at the back of my neck, I turned my head frantically to look for little Jamie and I saw Joe. I could see Joe shouting out for me, but I couldn't hear a single word he said. With the buzz inside of my head ringing so loud and the blood flowing from my head, I can only only squint my eyes to see that his mouth was moving in a constant rhythm. I was trying to my best to focus. I couldn't make up what he was saying. The buzzing became louder and louder. And my world gradually became pitch black.</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I opened my eyes, the scorching sun rays was too much for my pupil to bare, my palms worked its way to act as a shield to my eyes. Images begin to register in my mind as I turned around, absorbing the new environment that somehow felt familiar. A red mud-stained toddler's tricycle sprawled aimlessly across a well maintained, beautifully kept green lawn while a blue toy car, now rather half flattened was only a few meters away from the tricycle. The lawn sprinklers decided to come alive as the front door of the house spat wide opened. A woman, so beautiful I thought, stormed through the hallway. Her eyes dilated, mouth working furiously, hands and arms up in the air wildly. She was the one woman in my life, who have taught me how to ride a bicycle, how to behave like a woman, and how to love unconditionally. She was my role model, my mama.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While she was in the midst of her rants, making her way down the patio, she stopped abruptly only to continue her steps by running frantically towards my direction. Her eyebrows crinkled her forehead as she squatted down right next to me. With tears forming around the corners of her eyes, she still looked as beautiful as ever. Her touch so gentle and soft, she was holding my bruised knees with such care, she slowly blew away the grass and dirt around my wounds. I tried to call her, but all I can hear was her comforting voice saying, "Shhh, don't cry baby, everything is going to be alright," I looked down at my palm, it was very much smaller that I last remembered and a scorching pain hit me as I looked at my equally tiny knee which was bleeding severely. Confused, I looked around and I caught a reflection of myself. I was the three-year old me wearing a pony tail on my head with a huge ribbon to match with. My mama worked like a superhero, so fast that I did not even realise the pain anymore. I have never figured out what was her secret; how she can make everything so scary be as beautiful as marshmallows and rainbows in the skies, or how can she always keep me warm and safe, away from the big bad old monsters that creeps around at the end of the streets waiting to get us. Nope, I have never figured out what her secret was, never my entire life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And as the last step to patching me up, she made sure that she used my favorite Pooh bear plaster. I watched her as she moved gracefully packing the first aid kit and gathering the blood stained cotton. She stopped and smiled at me and rewarded me with a sloppy watery kiss. I was disgusted as she pulled away. My hands irritatedly wiped away her remaining saliva on my cheek. She looked at me, giggling hysterically. I know she loves doing that just to annoy me. I used to continue letting her do this up till when I was in my middle school just to see that gorgeous smile of hers resting upon her beautiful face.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Jessica! Where is my baby?" A tall, tanned, handsome, muscular young man crept up behind her and gave her the tightest embrace that I have ever seen my whole life. He planted a soft kiss on her forehead as she turned to face her love as a contented smile gently appeared on her face. Both of them looked at each other longingly for a second or two as though nothing else had mattered in the world. A thin layer of glass made of tears formed in my eyes as I witnessed such picture perfect view. I have forgotten about how much the happiness of these first two person that I know in the world had mattered to me and a strong pang hit me. I realised how much I have missed these two beautiful souls. Both of them, were my first best friends, my play mates and my guardians. As they stood together, looking at me smiling, the buzz in my head gradually became louder and I once again, am in total darkness.</div>

I feel as though I was the prettiest girl in the world at that moment. I was getting ready for my third birthday party and that day, I secretly wished that my prince charming would appear on his beautiful white horse and carry me away in his strong arms and live happily ever after. That I was told to believe in when I was three, young and naive.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I remembered that I couldn't help but to touch the crown of purple and white roses which felt so soft and subtle on my head as I walked down the white aisle behind my dear aunt, who I thought, had never looked anymore beautiful than she did that day. She was dressed in a graceful, long white dress with detailed designs made of shiny pearl white sequins, hair dressed up in a clean bun, eyes sparkling, edges of her lips reaching the sides of her ears as she walked towards the man of her dreams. That was when I was nine and I witnessed recruited true love.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I remembered when I looked straight into his puppy doe eyes, I felt as though nothing else mattered in the whole wide world. Every single time when his fingers link mine, my heart skips a beat. Every time our lips touches, nothing in the world could explain that feeling, not even fireworks. Every moment we shared, was simple and sincere. That was what I experienced when I was sixteen, an innocent first love.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I remembered that my heart was pounding and tears were rolling down my cheeks every time I see my parents quarreling and arguing. I remembered my mother's horrid-stricken face, tired and sad, trying her best to hold me and my sisters close to her, preventing my father from hurting us. I dreamt every day and night, the horrendous angry looking face that my father had every day when he drunkly steps into the front door of our house, reprimanding my mother and demanding for more beer. I was still in my college years, only twenty, when I stopped believing in marriage.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I remembered I was alone in my room, trying to keep my voice down, sobbing against my pillows as the picture of my fiancee cheating on me in a hotel room with another girl painfully popped up in my head. Those sweet memories that we shared, years of growing and learning together, smiles and laughters, and dreams of building a future together, all doesn't seem to mean a thing any more. I was twenty six when I stopped believing in love.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">So love, was supposed to be the only thing that matters in the whole world, the key to making the world seem much more bearable regardless the evil in the world. Love, so fragile and pure, is also something that many had lost faith upon. So, what is love then?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: right;">Inspirations.</div><div><br /></div>melaniehwa.http://www.blogger.com/profile/05292198188092517216noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481056953924603287.post-62134378500046368002011-01-06T19:55:00.000-08:002011-01-06T20:00:32.731-08:00# 78. When I was lost, it was your hands which held on to me with faith and guided me towards the right path. When I stood, shoulders broad, proud upon that podium after my graduation speech, it was your hands which clapped the loudest. When I walked down the aisle to the man of my dreams, it was your strong, safe, wrinkled hands which accompanied me down that road with nothing but sincere blessings. When I cried, it was your strong arms which I looked for to make me feel safe and strong again. When I see you by the rocking chair, I'll hold on to your wrinkled hands, and my fingers will trace every line, admiring how every one of them, carries a special story behind. It is your hands, which taught me how to dream, yet reminded me of what's the most important thing in life. It is your hands, that I would like to hold for as long as I can. Yes, but I always believe that when a door closes in your life, many other doors open up at that exact same moment. As terrible as life might seem at that moment of your life, stay strong and strive on. There is always a silver lining behind every dark cloud. Things happen for a reason. God has a plan for you and me. As dark as the day might seem, as heavy as your heart feel, as painful as it is to carry on, stop wallowing in your own pain and stand up, wipe your tears, toss out your sorrows and start a brand new day walking on sunshine. Life is too short to complain and whine. Jump on a plane today, shave your hair bald, make new friends. You are the pilot of your own life. Live counting your blessings and making more blessings to be remembered for the rest of your life. The World Is How You See It.<div style="text-align: justify;">Look at the picture and take a few seconds to yourself to think. And now, what do you think about this picture? What does it portray? What subliminal message is it trying to carry forth? What do you feel about this picture?</div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj_Iu4DTKP8ISgY98UjMlHFJcBw_tCvrtBtyQqm65FY0D_2AC6Qrz8-oJJQmIMRNWptPb171A6U_UxtTq3mKXw78_MXh71SmYh_gccDGoy8kuyqvh6Lr_uUPlsgZucK2l9jL1gAcV_0WQ0/s1600/wilted.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj_Iu4DTKP8ISgY98UjMlHFJcBw_tCvrtBtyQqm65FY0D_2AC6Qrz8-oJJQmIMRNWptPb171A6U_UxtTq3mKXw78_MXh71SmYh_gccDGoy8kuyqvh6Lr_uUPlsgZucK2l9jL1gAcV_0WQ0/s320/wilted.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5477875699453358914" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:x-small;">photograph by monikachu.</span> </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Most people would have given several answers like this, "Its a picture which symbolizes death." or maybe, "Its a sad, sad picture.", as well as, "It shows how beautiful things on earth never lasts." How the beautiful flowers wilted, definitely showed us how life is short. It definitely showed us death and it is a sad, sad picture. But are these the only views towards this beautiful picture? Are these the messages that this picture is saying? or are there more?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I rather choose the option of looking at this picture from a more positive tone. "I see how beautiful the flower in this picture is during its bloom. I see how many heart-warming love stories it bared witness in its lifetime. I see how it listened to those sweet, genuine promises a young man mouthed to the ears of his fiancée to be. I see how it brushed against the subtle skin of a beautiful young 3 year old girl who was playing and giggling with the one man she learnt to look up to for her whole life, her father. I see how it stood up high, and witnessed every sunrises and sunsets as well as how it was in between two graying old couples who laid down hand in hand, looking up at the sky filled with stars."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">What I am trying to say is, you can always view the world from many angles. You can remain gloomy and sad, or u can either choose to view things from a brighter point of view. I've once heard this and as cliché as it might sound, it is true. "The world is how you see it." You have control on how you choose to see things in life, and yes, in reality, life is harsh and gloomy. But forget not, it is also the most beautiful thing there is in the world. I guess, life is how you choose to see it. If you choose to see the glass as half empty, it will always be half empty to you and life will never be entirely fulfilling. So yeah, in life, there are definitely rise and falls, but whenever the falls come, you have the choice to either pick yourself up and dust off those shoulders, head held high, ready to continue, or you can choose to continue whining and crying, defeated. Again, the world lies on how you see it. Have alil faith and alil hope, the world ain't that bad. I, for one, choose to see the glass as half full.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: right;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: right;">Inspirations.</div>melaniehwa.http://www.blogger.com/profile/05292198188092517216noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481056953924603287.post-69314351510948463152010-05-14T02:23:00.001-07:002010-05-14T02:56:50.680-07:00# 65. peoplealwaysleave.<div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAj3FgRVJva3cvko9bdA-jQoP241fWadS9IkrGglzp2R8s9g50Ch40_DlwOrqbkFds_i0SJg3M4-VbDADGkpDSpcJctsWGsiClXUiwGczJX6O0d3MhrTiBLDjfqDVvaHd12CU5sUsMI3VD/s1600/pplalwaysleave1.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAj3FgRVJva3cvko9bdA-jQoP241fWadS9IkrGglzp2R8s9g50Ch40_DlwOrqbkFds_i0SJg3M4-VbDADGkpDSpcJctsWGsiClXUiwGczJX6O0d3MhrTiBLDjfqDVvaHd12CU5sUsMI3VD/s320/pplalwaysleave1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5471054078099957682" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:x-small;">photograph from googleimages</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:x-small;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;">in a lifetime, hundreds and thousands of lives crosses one another.</div><div style="text-align: center;">some might just be merely a short "hello",</div><div style="text-align: center;"> some you'll miss after goodbyes, some lasts a lifetime.</div><div style="text-align: center;">some might make the world seem a better place, some hurt us.</div><div style="text-align: center;">many are just company, some teaches us,</div><div style="text-align: center;"> some gives us strength to carry on.</div><div style="text-align: center;">but people always leave at the end of the day, only those who matters,</div><div style="text-align: center;"> leave footprints in our hearts.</div><div style="text-align: center;">all I hope for is that the people in my life marathon today, </div><div style="text-align: center;">would stay just alil bit longer.</div><div style="text-align: center;">and everything, will seem much easier to bare.</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: right;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: right;">Inspirations.</div>melaniehwa.http://www.blogger.com/profile/05292198188092517216noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481056953924603287.post-84606295116318990822010-05-05T12:09:00.001-07:002010-05-05T13:36:33.086-07:00# 64. It is an organization that was started by Nicole Kenny and KS Rives. Both of them, made use of the long-forgotten polariod cameras to take pictures of people, and asked each one of them, a simple question. "What do you want to do before you die?" They've carried out this project in the States as well as in India and they've found out clear differences in what people want and wish for. This is mainly due to how they have been brought up in different backgrounds and societies. But one clear and obvious similarity is that, it all showed hope. They hope for something more, and that is what gives them strength to live another day. Hope.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I've always wanted a mini polariod camera myself and this kind of put more meaning to it. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">(Unfortunately, if you guys do have my facebook or twitter, you should know that I am pretty broke.
